Classroom Talkshow

KIDS T.V. will send an artist to the classroom to help your students produce a televised ‘show and tell’ for the classroom. This may also work as a ‘Video Yearbook’ for the whole school.

Schedule: Set designers and interviewers will be selected by teachers and meet with the artist in the morning. The set designers will begin creating our student-made television studio in the library. At the same time the interviewers will take part in an interviewing workshop.

Classes will be scheduled in the afternoon for two 60 minute periods to star in their own ‘live’ talk show. All of the students will have a chance to be interviewed by one of the student talk show hosts (teachers may also join in). In addition we will have time for two or three small student performances or demonstrations (3-4 minutes). The class will be divided into two groups. One group will be the studio audience,and the other group will watch the program on the remote television. This program works great as a fundraiser for the school.
