Zoom Movie Trailer Program
Schedule
Part #1: Preparation (with teachers)
The artist will have a zoom meeting with the classroom teachers and explain the program and how they can work together to facilitate it. A later meeting will be planned with the Artist and the students where they will be instructed on how to create their Movie Trailers. In the preparation meeting the teachers will preview the editing program and will have a tutorial video to refer to if there are any problems. The editing program we use is fairly easy and we will set up templates for the students before the sessions.
A link will be given to the teachers to share with their students of four Movie Trailer templates; an Alien Invasion, Time Machine, Enchanted Castle and Dinosaurs. The students will pick which one they wish to work on and the Artist will set up their accounts with their names assigned according to their choices.
Part #2: Zoom Class (with students)
The Director will introduce the program to the students and show them how to edit their drafts. They will be able to change the text, the video, as well as the music. Each account will have a library of favorites that have been collected for them with lots of dinosaurs and aliens, etc. to choose from. After the zoom workshop the students will have another 48 hours to work on their Masterpieces before the Director collects them.
Part #3: Movie Festival and Popcorn
In approximately a week after completion we should have the finished Movie Reel with a Hollywood Style opening celebrating each of the student’s works. The link will be sent to the teacher for the class Movie Festival.
